Rec'd this one in my inbox the other day, from the email: "We, Sumu, from Tampere, Finland deliver you the most aggressive and the most fresh hardcore punk around. We like to call our music “sotecore” (social and healthcare in Finnish), because we all have worked in social and healthcare for years and we channel our experiences and frustration from the work field in our songs. We released our eponymous EP in December 2024 and it includes four songs in Finnish. The songs tell you a story about the collapse of Finnish social and healthcare, our frustration against the raging wars, the crooked relationship between humans & nature, and last but not the least, about the increasing indifference in our society caused by our right-wing government and their decisions. All this in just under nine minutes."
