Cursed Video Shrine Updated (including the first show ever)
If you've never noticed before, over on the right side of this page, a little bit past the chats etc, there is a link to something called "CURSED VIDEO FOOTAGE". This is just a little spot where I have gathered as much Cursed footage as I can find, surprisingly there's more than you may think, but I guess they did play a shit load of shows, so maybe it shouldn't come as a surprise. Anyway, every once in a while I search YouTube for anything new or something I might have missed. When I did this yesterday, I found quite a few vids that I did not have, about 10 or so of them. So they are there now, if this is of interest to you. And if you happen to know of any that I do not have, please let me know. One of the videos that was new to me is the first Cursed show (!) in Montreal from 2002. This is crazy to have on video, check it out below:

DAATP Lore - Q/A time with Kogi
After my post the other day, I got a comment from the legend Kogi. At first I was just going to answer it in the coment section, but my response kept getting longer and longer, so I thought it made sense just to post it all here. Maybe it will be interesting to a few others.
11-Plus Years & 5 Million Visits later...
"The song written the week that Jerry Falwell died. Couldn't resist the urge to kick that prick when he was down." - Chris Colohan on writing Dead Air At The Pulpit for Cursed
I don't really know how to begin this post, but let me just tell you that this little blog of ours got it's 5 Millionth view today (!) and I'm at a slight loss for words. Five million views may not mean much to some websites, but I could have never imagined that 1: we would even still be around all this time later, and 2: that we would even come close to approaching that many return visitors. I honestly can't believe we haven't been shut down by now by the almighty Blogger Gods. I kind of implemented a built-in failsafe for that, if you've noticed, I have tried to go back to the early ways and only post about new bands that offer their music for FREE on Bandcamp (Don't worry, the chat will always be the Wild Wild West of hardcore downloads, I love all you guys that are in there every day). I think this approach has saved us on more than one occasion, and I also feel like it's my way of helping out the little guy. There have been so many killer blogs that have inspired me, but are now sadly gone (Shout out to Elementary Revolt & Manic Compression, among many, many others), but throughout it all, we are still here. I thank them for their service and I hope we are still here for another decade or two, at least. Thanks for hanging out with me all these years and helping me find so many great bands. ~Adam

Axe To Grind 364 - Cave Paintings
Recently, one of the main bridges in my city caught on fire and ever since it has royally fucked traffic. I've never been a podcast guy but I figured I should try to find something to listen to while I slowly go insane on the highway. On a whim, I did a quick search for "hardcore podcasts" and this one came up. It leans into more of the 80's hardcore punk side of things, but it's still very good and entertaining. One of the dudes is the singer for Drug Church and Self Defense Family. And one of the other guys was the singer for some old hardcore band called Indecision. I don't know what the 3rd guy does, but either way, it's great. They've been doing this for a few years but I figured I would just post these when new episodes drop, which is I think every Tuesday. So, give it a try, maybe you'll like it. I'll be posting the podcast via Spotify here, but I'm sure you can get it on one of the million other podcast sources.
