High Cost is a five piece band from NYC who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. High Cost play a scathing, vicious, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and poweviolence within their sound. Musically, High Cost can be loosely compared to bands such as Oxidant, Backslider, Total Abuse, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, High Cost have released a self-titled seven song EP in November of 2018, and a cover of The Ramone's Pet Cemetery in October of 2020. What's Living Worth is the band's latest EP, which was released via Bitter Melody and Wide Eyed Noise records on January 9th, 2021. On What's Living Worth?, High Cost offer up six vicious, scathing, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and poweviolence. Overall, What's Living Worth makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
