Stand Still is a five piece band from Long Island, NY who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Stand Still play a melodic, driving, and catchy as hell sounding style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and emo within their sound. Musically, Stand Still can be loosely compared to bands such as Silent Majority, As Friends Rust, Polar Bear Club, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2020, Stand Still have released a digital single titled Free My Mind in April of 2021. A Practice In Patience is the band's debut EP, which was released via New Morality Zine and Daze records on June 25th, 2021. On A Practice In Patience, Stand Still offer up five tracks of driving, melodic, and catchy as hell sounding 90's influenced hardcore, punk, and emo. Overall, A Practice In Patience makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
