Eyecandy is a three piece band from Oxnard, California who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Eyecandy play tense, discordant, and frenetic style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post punk, no-wave, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Eyecandy can be very loosely compared to bands such as Twelve Volt Shock, Haymarket Riot, Drive Like Jehu, Multicult, Rites Of Spring, Sprain, Slint, Unwound, and other like-minded bands. Supernova is the band's debut EP, which was released on February 14th, 2021. On Supernova, Eyecandy offer up five tracks of tense, discordant, and frenetic sounding post hardcore, post punk, no-wave, and noise rock. Overall, Supernova makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
