Department Of Teleportation play a tense, angular, and frenetic style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post punk, noise rock, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Department Of Teleportation can be loosely compared to bands such as Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, Young Widows, Fight Amp, Buildings, Pile and other like-minded bands. This is the band's debut EP, which was released on May 20th, 2021. On their self-titled debut, Department Of Teleportation offer up seven tracks of tense, moody, and frenetic sounding post hardcore, post punk, noise rock, and indie rock.
