Daughters Of St. Crispin are a two piece band from Madison, Wisconsin who formed in 2019. Daughters Of St. Crispin features members of United Sons Of Toil, Tyranny Is Tyranny, and Droids Attack, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Daughters Of St. Crispin play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post punk, noise rock, doom, and slowcore within their sound. Musically, Daughters Of St. Crispin can be said to be influenced by bands such as Codeine, Jesu, Godflesh, Big/Brave, Nadja, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, Daughters Of St. Crispin have released a three song EP titled Ex-Spies in May of 2019. This is the band's debut full-length LP, which is slated for release via Phratry and Force Publique records on July 15th, 2021. On their self-titled debut, Daughters Of St. Crispin offer up eight tracks of tense and doomy slowcore, noise rock, post punk, and post hardcore. Overall, Daughters Of St. Crispin's debut LP makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
