GILT is a four piece band from Jacksonville, Florida who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. GILT play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and alt. rock within their sound. Musically, GILT can be loosely compared to bands such as older Balance And Composure, Have Mercy, Basement, Daisyhead, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, GILT have released a digital single titled Flowers in March of 2017, a five song EP titled Currency in November of 2017, a split EP with Shurwood in May of 2018, a digital single titled Visitation in April of 2019, a digital single titled Flowers in May of 2020, a digital single titled Sink And Tithe in August of 2020, and a digital single titled Black And Blue in August of 2020. Ignore What's Missing is GILT's debut full-length LP, which was released on August 20th, 2020. On Ignore What's Missing, GILT offer up twelve tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, emo, and alt. rock. Overall, Ignore What's Missing makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
