Sloth Cult is a mysterious band from parts unknown who has little or no social media presence as far as I can tell. Sloth Cult play a dark, gloomy, and unsettling style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, shoegaze, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Sloth Cult can be said to be influenced by bands such as Joy Division, Swans, Christian Death, Have A Nice Life, and other like-minded bands. Past Lives And Tomorrow is the band's latest (possibly 1st?) full-length LP, which was released digitally via bandcamp on June 5th, 2020. On Past Lives And Tomorrow, Sloth Cult offer up seven tracks of dark, gloomy, and moody sounding post punk, shoegaze, and noise rock. Overall, Past Lives And Tomorrow makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
