Qwälen is a five piece band from Oulu, Finland who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Qwälen play a raw, caustic, and vicious style of raw/blackened punk and black metal within their sound. Musically, Qwälen can be loosely compared to bands such as Noose Rot, Void Rot, Black September, Cara Neir, Bone Awl, and other like minded bands. Unohdan Sinut is the band's debut LP, which was released via Time To Kill records on February 19th, 2021. On Unohdan Sinut, Qwälen offer up seven tracks of vicious and scathing raw/blackened punk and black metal. Overall, Unodhan Sinut makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
