Closer is a three piece band from Brooklyn NY, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, PA who formed in 2016. Closer features members of Real Life Buildings, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Closer play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Closer can be loosely compared to bands such as Mahria, Lord Snow, The Saddest Landscape, Touche Amore, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Closer have released a nine song LP titled All This Will Be in January of 2018. Within One Stem is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Middle-Man, Lauren, Zip Zalp, Voice Of The Unheard, Strictly No Capital Letters, Pundonor, and Non Ti Seguo Records on March 12th, 2021. On Within One Stem, Closer offer up seven tracks of emotive and urgent sounding post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.
