Teenage Wrist is a two piece band from San Jose, California who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. Teenage Wrist play a hazy, dreamy, and shimmery style of music that incorporates elements of alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Teenage Wrist can be loosely compared to bands such as Big Bite, Title Fight, Trauma Ray, Whirr, Have Mercy, Basement, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2014, Teenage Wrist have released a six song EP titled Dazed in May of 2015, a digital single titled Stoned, Alone in June of 2016, an eleven song LP titled Chrome Neon Jesus in March of 2018, a four song Part Time Punks EP in November of 2018, and a digital single titled Silverspoon in September of 2020. Earth Is A Black Hole is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Epitaph records on February 12th, 2021. On Earth Is A Black Hole, Teenage Wrist offer up ten tracks of hazy, dreamy, and shimmery alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze. Overall, Earth Is A Black Hole makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
