Silicone Prairie is a one person band from Kansas City, Missouri who began forming in 2017. Silicone Prairie play a weird style of futuristic, yet deconstructed/minimalistic sounding style of post punk, punk, synthwave, and newave. Since forming in 2017, Silicone Prairie have released a six song EP titled Natural Man & The Flaming Band in August of 2017, a twelve song LP titled Mutants 4 Nuclear Waste Vs. GWTW in April of 2018, an eight song EP titled Living In A Chemical World With The Natural Man Band in July of 2019, and a two song EP in May of 2020. My Life On The Silicone Prairie is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Feel It records on February 5th, 2021. On My Life On The Silicone Valley, Silicone Prairie offer up thirteen tracks of minimalistic/deconstructed Devo, Talking Heads, and Television inspired post punk, punk, synthwave, amd newwave.
