Mouthbreather is a two piece band from Boston, MA who formed in 2017. Mouthbreather play a chaotic and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, grindcore, mathcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Mouthbreather can be loosely compared to bands such as Theories, Woundvac, Fulgora, Fawn Limbs, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Mouthbreather have released a seven song EP titled Pig in October of 2017 and a seven song EP titled Dollmeat in July of 2018. Dollmeat/Pig is the band's latest LP, which was released via Darktrail records on February 5th, 2021. Dollmeat/Pig compiles both EPs on vinyl for the first time. On Dollmeat/Pig, Mouthbreather offer up fourteen tracks of volatile, chaotic, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, grindcore, mathcore, and powerviolence. Overall, Dollmeat/Pig makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
