Dead Mammals are a two piece band from Rochester, United Kingdom who formed in 2019, from the looks of things. Dead Mammals play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, metal, alt. rock, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Dead Mammals can be said to be influenced by bands such as Unsane, Big Black, Wipers, The Jesus Lizard, Flipper, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, Dead Mammals have released a digital single titled Bricks in May of 2020, a digital single titled Jughead in June of 2020, a five song EP titled Mirrors in September of 2020, and a six song EP titled Reskin in October of 2020. This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Forbidden Place records on February 5th, 2021. On their self-titled debut, Dead Mammals offer up ten tracks of ugly, raw, and discordant sounding post punk, punk, metal, alt. rock, and noise rock. Overall, Dead Mammals' debut LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
