BOBAK is a three piece band from New Jersey who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. BOBAK play a raw ugly, and depressive style of lo-fi/punk tinged black metal. Musically, BOBAK can be loosely compared to bands such as Bone Awl, Noose Rot, Raspberry Bulbs, Mamaleek, Skrawl, Cyttorak, and other like-minded bands. The First Key is the band's debut LP, which was released via Wet Cassettes records on February 12th, 2021. On The First Key, BOBAK offer up nine tracks of harsh, raw, and ugly sounding lo-fi/punk tinged black metal. Overall, The First Key makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
