Here's a killer split 7" featuring new material from Nashville, TN's Yautja and NYC via Nepal's Chepang. Yautja are a three piece band from Nashville, Tennessee who formed in 2011. Yautja play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and death metal within their sound. Since their inception in 2011, Yautja have released a self-titled five song EP in May of 2011, a split 7" with Enabler in January of 2012, a fourteen song LP titled Songs Of Descent in February of 2014, a seven song LP titled Songs Of Lament in October of 2015, and a split 7" with Forn in December of 2015. Chepang is a five piece band from NYC and Napal who formed in 2016. Chepang play a vicious, brutal, and scathing style of politically charged music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Since forming in 2016, Chepang have released an eight song EP titled Lathi Charge in August of 2016, a one song demo titled 1 Love in April of 2017, a fourteen song LP titled Dadhelo in November of 2017, a split EP with Test in May of 2018, and a seventeen song LP titled Chatta in May of 2020. On their latest split, both bands offer up two songs a piece, which results and a vicious and brutal as fuck listen. This awesome split was released via GCBT records on January 15th, 2021. Overall, Yautja's and Chepang's latest split 7" makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
