Flood Peak is a three piece band from Portland, Oregon who formed in 2018. Flood Peak play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Flood Peak can be loosely compared to bands such as Forn, Bosse De Nage, Northless, Vile Creature, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Flood Peak have released a four song LP titled Plague Of Sufferers in February of 2018. Fixed Ritual is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Anima Recordings on January 22nd, 2021. On Fixed Ritual, Flood Peak offer up five tracks of ugly, ominous, and oppressively heavy blackened post metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Fixed Ritual makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
