Cloud Nothings are a four piece band from Cleveland, Ohio who formed in 2009. Cloud Nothings started out being the one man recording project of Dylan Baldi. Cloud Nothings eventually evolved into a four piece band after releasing their first album Turning On in October of 2010. Cloud Nothings play a punchy, melodic, and catchy as hell style of music that incorporates elements of punk, indie rock, and alternative rock within their sound. Since forming in 2009, Cloud Nothings have released a thirteen song LP titled Turning On in October of 2010, an eleven song self-titled LP in January of 2011, an eight song LP titled Attack On Memory in January of 2012, an eight song LP titled Here And Nowhere Else in April of 2014, a split LP with Wavves in June of 2015, a nine song LP titled Life Without Sound in January of 2017, an eight song LP titled Last Building Burning in October of 2018, a 7" titled Learn My Life in July of 2020, and a ten song LP titled The Black Hole Understands in July of 2020. Life Is Only One Event is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on December 4th, 2020. On Life Is Only One Event, Cloud Nothings offer up ten tracks of punchy, edgy, melodic, and catchy as hell sounding punk, indie rock, and alt. rock.
