Lessener is a three piece band from Boston, MA who formed in 2010. Lessener play an intense, volatile, chaotic, and explosive style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Lessener can be loosely compared to bands such as Orchid, Jeromes Dream, Saetia, old Loma Prieta, Weak Teeth, We Were Skeletons, The Saddest Landscape, and other like-minded bands. Sincde forming in 2010, Lessener have released a five song demo titled Revolt Freedom Passion in October of 2010, a split EP with Regret The Informer in November of 2012, contributed a song to Jeromes Dream tribute LP It's More Like A Homage To You in June of 2017, and a self-titled five song EP in December of 2016. Six Songs is the band's latest EP, which was released on December 6th, 2020. On Six Songs, Lessener offer up six tracks of volatile and chaotic sounding hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Overall, Six Songs makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
