Hexis is a four piece band from Copenhagen, Denmark who formed in 2010. Hexis play a dark, ominous, and oppressive style of music that mixes elements of hardcore, punk, doom, and raw black metal within their sound. Since forming in 2010, Hexis have released a seven song LP titled XI in January of 2012, a split 7" with Redwood in 2013, a thirteen song LP titled Abalam in January of 2014, a split 10" with Primitive Man in May of 2014, a split with This Gift Is A Curse in January of 2015, and an eleven song LP titled Tando Ashanti in April of 2017. Exstirpo / Exsorbeo is the band's latest EP, which was released via Hydrogen Man, WOOOAAARGH!, Moment Of Collapse, 5 Feet Under, Abekeit, RAKKERPAK, Holy Goat, Dingleberry, Bad Moon Rising, and Dance Happy Doom Crew records on November 13th, 2020. On Exstirpo / Exsorbeo, Hexis offer up two tracks of ugly, depressive, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, doom, and black metal. Overall, Exstirpo / Exsorbeo makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
