Shackles are a four piece band from Ocean Shores, Australis who formed in 2012. Shackles play a blistering, scathing, and vicious style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and grindcore. Musically, Shackles can be said to be influenced by bands such as Left For Dead, The Swarm, Haymaker, and Infest. Since forming in 2012, Shackles have released a seven song EP titled Dissolve To Nothing in October of 2012, a six song self-titled EP in April of 2013, a five song EP titled Disposed Of in August of 2013, a fifteen song live recording titled West Coast Live Destruction in April of 2015, an eighteen song LP titled Forced To Regress in January of 2014, a twelve song LP titled Lifeless Paradise in March of 2017. Hatred's Reservoir is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Resist records on November 6th, 2020. On Hatred's Reservoir, Shackles offer up thirteen tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and grindcore. Overall, Hatred's Reservoir makes for a vicious/pulverizing listen and should definitely not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
