Uniform is a two piece band from NYC who formed in late 2013. Uniform
features Ben Greenberg who is know for his work with Hubble, The Men,
and Pygmy Shrews and Michael Berdan who played in York Factory
Com-Plaint, Drunkdriver, and Believer/Law. Uniform play a rhythmic,
primal, and hypnotic style of music that seamlessly melds elments post
punk and noise rock within their sound. Uniform play a bleak, stark,
and cold form of music that incorporates elements of post punk, noise
rock, industrial, and experimental noise within their sound. Since
forming in 2013, Uniform have released a six song LP titled Perfect
World in July of 2015, a three song EP titled Ghost House in October
of 2016, an eight song LP titled Wake In Fright in January of 2017, a
collaborative LP with The Body in June of 2018, and an eight song LP titled THe Long Walk in August of 2018. Shame is the
band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Sacred
Bones records on September 11th, 2020. On Shame, Uniform offer
up eight tracks of ugly and harsh sounding post punk, noise rock, industrial, and experimental
noise. Overall, Shame makes for an amazing listen and
definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
