Bathe is a four piece band from Columbia, South Carolina who formed in 2014. Bathe play a vicious, ugly, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, doom, grindcore, and noise within their sound. Since forming in 2014, Bathe have released a seven song EP titled Ornothopsieism In Seven Movements in July of 2015, a five song EP titled Migration Patterns in October of 2017, an a digital single titled I Got A Good Night's Sleep, But My Friend Is Dead in June of 2018. A Field Guide To Dead Birds is the band's latest full-length LP, which is slated for physical release on CD via Sludgelord records on October 22nd, 2020. On A Field Guide To Dead Birds, Bathe offer up eight tracks of experimental, vicious, ugly, and brutal as fuck sounding black metal, doom, grindcore, and noise. Overall, A Field Guide To Dead Birds makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
