Midnight Coven is a one person band from Nova Scotia who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Midnight Coven play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of psychedelic doom, metal, and stoner rock within their sound. Musically, Midnight Coven can be loosely compared to bands such as Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats, Monster Magnet, Black Sabbath, Dead Meadow, Ancient Sky, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Midnight Coven have released a self-titled LP in July of 2016, a digital single titled Light The Candle in July of 2016, a five song LP titled Words Of Wisdom in August of 2016, an eight song LP titled Pull Away The Curtain in December of 2016, an eight song LP titled Come This Way in April of 2017, an eight song LP titled A Light In The Dark in October of 2017, an eight song LP titled Live For Rock N' Roll in April of 2018, a six song LP titled Clairvoyance in September of 2018, a seven song LP titled Abracadabrica in January of 2019, and a six song LP titled Bewitched in December of 2019. Ignite is the band's latest LP, which was released via Forbidden Place records on April 12th, 2020. On Ignite, Midnight Coven offer up eight tracks of dark, trippy, and psychedelic sounding doom, metal, and stoner rock.
