Kassad is a one piece band from London, United Kingdom who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Kassad plays an atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, post rock, doom, and black metal within their style. Musically, Kassad can be said to be influenced by bands such as Deafheaven, Isis, Year Of No Light, Amen Ra, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Kassad have released a three song EP titled Humans in January of 2016 and a seven song LP titled Faces Turn Away in February of 2017. London Orbital is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Hypnotic Dirge records on January 10th, 2020. On London Orbital, Kassad offer up five tracks of hauntingly atmospheric sounding post metal, post rock, doom, and black metal. Overall, London Orbital makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
