Vein is a four piece band from Boston, MA who formed in early 2013, from the looks of things. Vein play a volatile, chaotic, and brutal as fuck style of noise damaged hardcore, punk, and metalcore. Musically, Vein can be loosely compared to bands such as Seeyouspacecowboy, .gif From God, Crossed, Blistered, Code Orange, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Vein have released a five song self-titled EP in July of 2013, a five song EP titled Terrors Realm in June of 2015, a three song demo in May of 2013, a four song EP titled Self-Destruct in August of 2017, and an eleven song LP titled Errorzone in June of 2018. Old Data In A New Machine Vol, 1 is the band's latest LP, which was released via Closed Casket Activities on July 28th, 2020. On Old Data In A New Machine, Vein offer up eleven remixes of earlier songs from Errorzone and earlier EPs. Overall, Old Data In A New Machine makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
