Gulch is a band from Santa Cruz, California who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Gulch play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Gulch can be loosely compared to bands such as End, Jesus Piece, Dead In The Dirt, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Gulch have released a three song demo titled Demolition Of Human Construct in January of 2017, a six song 10" titled Burning Desire To Draw Last Breath in May of 2018, and a two song promo EP in May of 2019. Impenetrable Cerebral Fortress is the band's debut 12", which was released via Closed Casket Activities on July 24th, 2020. On Impenetrable Cerebral Fortress, Gulch offer up eight tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, and powerviolence. Overall, Impenetrable Cerebral Fortress, makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
