Rid Of Me is a three piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in 2019, from the looks of things. Rid Of Me features members of Low Dose, Fight Amp, and Legendary Divorce, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Rid Of Me play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, grunge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Rid Of Me can be loosely compared to bands such as Low Dose, Desperate Living, Unwound, Drive Like Jehu, Bummer, and other like-minded bands. Summer is the band's debut EP, which was released on cassette via Knife Hits records ona pril 17th, 2020 and via The Ghost Is Clear records as a limited Lathe 12" limited to 150 copies on July 13th, 2020. On Summer, Rid Of Me offer up four tracks of heavy as nails post punk, punk, grunge, and noise punk. Overall, Summer makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
