Primitive Blast is a band from Sydney, Australia who formed in 2014. Primitive Blast play an ugly and ultra negative style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Primitive Blast can be loosely compared to bands such as Hoax, Gag, Rash, No Power, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2014, Primitive Blast have released a five song demo in September of 2014, a split 7" with Controlled in September of 2015, a two song promo in September of 2016, and a five song EP in July of 2017. Animalistic is the band's latest 12', which was released via Triple B records on July 17th, 2020. On Animalistic, Primitive Blast offer up six tracks of ugly and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and d-beat. Overall, Animalistic makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
