GELD is a Melbourne, Australia based band, featuring members of Kromosom and Power who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. GELD play a swirling and chaotic style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Musically, GELD can be loosely compared to bands such as Churchwhip, Impalers, No Power, Hoax, and other like-minded bands. Since their formation in 2016, GELD have released a self-titled EP in May of 2016, a ten track LP titled Perfect Texture in March of 2018, and a four song 7" titled Soft Power in August of 2018. Beyond The Floor is the band's latest full-length LP which was released via Iron Lung and Static Shock records on July 3rd, 2020. On Beyond The Floor, GELD offer up twelve tracks of ugly and vicious as fuck sounding outsider hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Beyond The Floor makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
