Curse The Son is a four piece band from Hamden, CT who formed in January of 2018. Curse The Son play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of doom, metal, and stoner metal within their sound. Musically, Curse The Son can be said to be loosely compared to bands such as Hollow Leg, Sleep, Black Sabbath, Buzzoven, Doomriders, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2008, Curse The Son have released a four song EP titled Globus Hystericus in August of 2008, a seven song LP titled Klonopain in January of 2011, a six song LP titled Psychache in January of 2013, and a seven song LP titled Isolator in April of 2017. Excruciation is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on June 12th, 2020. On Excruciation, Curse The Son offer up nine tracks of dark, ominous, and trippy sounding doom, metal, and stoner metal. Overall, Excruciation makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
