Hoof is a three piece doom, sludge, and stoner rock band from Fairmont, West Virginia. Hoof formed from the ashes of Open Graves. Musically, Hoof can be said to be influenced by bands such as Old Man Gloom, Doom Riders, Sweet Cobra, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Hoof have released a five song EP in March of 2015. A Dirt Floor is the band's latest LP, which was released via Constant Disappointment and Dead Friends records on May 24th, 2019. On A Dirt Floor, Seraph offer up five tracks of raw, gritty, and dirty as fuck sounding doom, sludge, and stoner rock. Overall, A Dirt Floor is a mammoth of an LP and definitely should not be missed. We sincerely appreciate all the kind words about our record, and we're flattered that you enjoyed it, but I believe you've got our information confused with another band named Hoof. This is our only released record, and we were a Massachusetts based band active from 2005 to 2012. This was a posthumous release of ours.
