Holy Grinder is five piece band from Toronto, Ontario who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Holy Grinder play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Holy Grinder can be loosely compared to bands such as Closet Witch, WVRM, Heinous, Cloud Rat, Intensive Care, and other like-minded bands. SInce forming in 2017, Holy Grinder have released a thirteen song EP titled Grind Is Protest Volume I in March of 2017, a split with Capsized in April of 2017, a split with Insufferable in July of 2017, a split with Sete Star Sept in May of 2017, an eleven song EP titled Eradicate All Scum in November of 2017, a split with Domesticated in May of 2018, a split with Agathocles in July of 2018, a split with Reeking Cross in October of 2018, an eleven song EP titled Cult Of Extermination in March of 2018, a digital single titled Flesh Prison II in February of 2019, a digital single titled Play God in April of 2019, and a six song EP titled Chain Of Revenge in June of 2019. Divine Extinction is the band's latest EP, which was released on May 27th, 2020. On Divine Extinction, Holy Grinder offer up eleven tracks of brutal and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, grindcore, and powerviolence.
