Crooked Heart is a three piece band from Grand Rapids, Michigan who formed in 2013. Crooked Heart play a killer style of progressive post hardcore, punk, grunge, metal, alt. rock, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Crooked Heart can be loosely compared to bands such as Quicksand, Silent Majority, LA Dispute, Helmet, Shift, Aeges, Failure, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Crooked Heart have released a five song EP titled Winter in July of 2014, a five song EP titled Are You Home? in August of 2015, a nine song LP titled Stranger Things in May of 2017, and a seven song live LP titled Live At The Tiny Tree House in March of 2019. Perpetual Twilight is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on June 5th, 2020. On Perpetual Twilight, Crooked Heart offer up eight tracks of progressive sounding post hardcore, punk, grunge, metal, alt. rock, and indie rock. Overall, Perpetual Twilight makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
