Vile Creature is a two piece band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada who formed in 2015. Vile Creature play a killer style of music that incorplrates elements of atmospheric black metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Vile Creature can be loosely compared to bands such as Eyehategod, Hell, Thou, Barghest, Moloch, Sea Of Bones, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Vile Creature have released a three song LP titled A Steady Descent Into The Soil in March of 2015 and a one song EP titled A Pessimistic Doomsayer in September of 2016, a four song LP titled Cast Of Static And Smoke in March of 2018, and a double LP compiling the band's discography from 2015-2018 titled Preservation Rituals in March of 2019. Glory, Glory! Apathy Took Helm! is the band's latest LP, which was released via prosthetic records on June 19th, 2020. On Glory, Glory! Apathy Took Helm!, Vile Creature offer up five tracks of filthy, raw, and brutal as fuck sounding atmospheric black metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Glory, Glory! Apathy Took Helm! makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
