Couch Slut is a five piece band from NYC who formed in 2013, from the looks of things. Couch Slut play a killer style of harsh and completely unhinged punk and noise rock. Musically, Couch Slut can be loosely compared to bands such as Unsane, Shellac, Whores, Buildings, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Couch Slut have released a six song LP titled My Life As A woman in October of 2014, a seven song LP titled Contempt in July of 2017, and a split 12" with Microwaves in October of 2017. Take A Chance On Rock N' Roll is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Gilead Media on May 1st, 2020. On Take A Chance On Rock N' Roll, Couch Slut offer up nine tracks of harsh, abrasive, and ugly sounding punk and noise rock. Overall, Take A Chance On Rock N' Roll makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
