Treadles is a four piece band from New Orleans, Louisiana who formed in 2010, from the looks of things. Treadles play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, grunge, indie rock, and death rock within their sound. Musically, Treadles can be loosely compared to band such as The Black Heart Procession, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Dirt Devil, Marriages, Holy Motors, Pile, Hop Along, Campdogzz, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2010, Treadles have released a five song EP titled Rough Barks in September of 2011, a ten song LP titled Lichen in December of 2014, a digital single titled Doctor Blind in September of 2016, a ten song LP titled Slow Walker Demos in January of 2017, a six song EP titled Bees Are Thieves Too in October of 2017, and a two song 7" titled Cold B/W Iron in May of 2019. And The Rocks And The Trees And The Empty Air Between is the band's latest LP, which was released on December 16th, 2019. On And The Rocks And The Trees And The Empty Air Between, Treadles offer up thirteen tracks of killer post punk, grunge, indie rock, and death rock within their sound.
