Resent is a band from Victoria, British Columbia who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Resent play a killer style of raw punk tinged black metal, doom, and sludge. Musically, Resent can be loosely compared to bands such as Eyehategod, Come To Grief, Sea Of Bones, Meth Drinker and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Resent have released a self-titled six song demo in July of 2018 and a two song demo LP titled Degenerate in June of 2019. Crosshairs is Resent's debut full-length LP, which was released via Nerve Altar records on May 1st, 2020. On Crosshairs, Resent offer up six tracks of filthy, raw, and brutal as fuck sounding punk, black metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Crosshairs makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
