Vile Spirit is a four piece band from Brighton, UK who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Vile Spirit features members of Gutter Knife, Saliva, and Chubby and the Gang, so going on that alone you know you're in for a special treat. Vile Spirit play an aggressive, violent, and unhinged style of hardcore/punk. Musically, Vile Spirit can be loosely compared to bands such as Repos, Hoax, Rash, Civilized, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Vile Spirit have released a self-titled four song demo in October of 2017. Scorched Earth is the band's debut LP, which was released via Quality Control records on March 26th, 2020. On Scorched Earth, Vile Spirit offer up ten tracks of brutally unhinged hardcore/punk. Overall, Scorched Earth really kicks some serious ass and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
