Melkbelly is a four piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Melkbelly play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, alt. rock, grunge, shoegaze, and noise rock within their sound. Since forming in 2012, Melkbelly have released a digital single titled A Case Of The Krampus in Decemberof 2013, a full length LP titled Pennsylvania in July of 2014, a two song 7" titled B.A.T.B. 7" in July of 2015, a two song 7" titled Mount Kool Kid/Elk Mountain in September of 2016, an eleven song LP titled Nothing Valley in October of 2017, and and a digital single titled MELK in December of 2019. PITH is the band's latest LP, which was released via Wax Nine records on April 3rd, 2020. On PITH, Melkbelly offer up eleven tracks of killer punk, alt. rock, grunge, shoegaze, and noise rock. Overall, PITH makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
