Dogleg is a three piece band from Detroit, Michigan who formed in September of 2015, from the looks of things. Dogleg play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, grunge, emo, alt. rock, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Dogleg can be loosely compared to bands such as At The Drive-In, Small Brown Bike, My Heart To Joy, Frontier(s), Have Mercy, Prawn, and other like minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Dogleg have released a self-titled six song EP in September of 2015 and a four song EP titled Alderaan? in December of 2016. Melee is the band's debut LP, which was released via Triple Crown records on March 13th, 2020. On Melee, Dogleg offer up ten tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, grunge, alt. rock, emo, and indie rock. Overall, Melee makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
