The Ditch And The Delta are a three piece band from Salt Lake City, Utah, who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. The Ditch And The Delta play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, sludge, doom, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, The Ditch And The Delta can be said to be influenced by bands such as Neurosis, Eyehategod, Buzzoven, The Melvins, Shellac, and early 90's AMREP style noise rock bands. Since forming in 2014, The Ditch And The Delta have released a four song EP titled We Rust in February of 2015, and a seven song LP titled Hives In Decline in May of 2017. This is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Prosthetic and Sludgelord records on April 17th, 2020. On their latest self-titled LP, The Ditch And The Delta offer up seven tracks of raw and gritty sounding post metal, sludge, doom, and noise rock. Overall, The Ditch And The Delta's latest LP makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
