Crisman are a four piece band from Denton, Texas who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Crisman play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of indie rock, emo, dream pop, and slowcore within their sound. Musically, Crisman can be loosely compared to bands such as Estates, Codeine, Campdogzz, Hop Along, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Crisman have released a four song EP titled Weird Ionnie in January of 2016, a four song EP titled Big Kid in April of 2016, a five song EP titled Dear Diary in October of 2016, a nine song LP titled Hey Bird in April of 2017, and an eight song self-titled cassette in August of 2018. This is the band's latest LP, which was released via Topshelf records on April 3rd, 2020. On their latest self-titled LP, a Crisman offer up ten tracks of laid back, hazy, and dreamy sounding indie rock, emo, dream pop, and slowcore. Overall, Crisman's latest full length LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
