Elephant Tree is a three piece band from London, UK who formed in January of 2014. Elephant Tree play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, doom, metal, and stoner metal within their sound. Musically, Elephant Tree cite Windhand, Weedeater, Slabdragger, Throne, Gurt, OM, Sleep, Colour Haze, Truckfighters, Lowrider, The Sword, Stubb, Kadavar, Dead Meadow, Witch, Tweak Bird, Earth, , The Beatles, Geezer, and Mothership as influences, which definitely shows up in the band's sound and style. Since forming in 2014, Elephant Rifle have released a digital single titled Attack Of The Altaica in February of 2014, a seven song LP titled Theia in September of 2014, a self-titled eight song LP in April of 2016, and a Live LP titled Live At Day Of Doom, which is slated for a release date of June 20th, 2020. Habits is the band's latest LP, which was released via Holy Roar records on April 24th, 2020. On Habits, Elephant Tree offer up eight tracks of psychedelic and progressive sounding post metal, doom, metal, and stoner metal.
