The Cowboys are a band from Bloomington, Indiana who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. The Cowboys play a really energetic and refreshing style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, and garage rock within their sound. Musically, The Cowboys can be said to be influenced by The Gizmos, Velvet Underground, Television, Gang Of Four, The Stooges, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, The Cowboys have released three self-titled LPs, a four song LP titled Volume 4 in February of 2018, a four song live EP titled Live At Tony's Garage in February of 2018, and a fourteen song LP titled The Bottom Of A Rotten Flower in February of 2019. Room Of Clons is the band's latest LP, which was released via Feel It records onApril 4th, 2020. On Room Of Clons, The Cowboys offer up thirteen tracks of songs that alternate between punchy 80's influenced post punk and psychedelic sounding garage rock/power pop. Overall, Room Of Clons makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended!
