Armywives are a four piece band from Brooklyn, New York who formed in 2010, from the looks of things. Armywives play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Armywives can be loosely compared to bands such as Kidcrash, early Pianos Become The Teeth, We Were Skeletons, Todos Caeran, Eyelet, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2010, Armywives have released five song EP titled Discography 2010-2014 in January of 2014, a digital single titled Twenty-Four Karat in March of 2019, a digital single titled Unmarked in April of 2019, and a digital single titled Thoughts+Prayers in September of 2019. This is the band's debut EP, which was released via Zegema Beach records on April 21st, 2020. On their latest self-titled EP, Armywives offer up four tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Overall, Armywives' latest EP makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
