The Microbes are a two piece band from Manchester, CT who formed in 2019. The Microbes play a high energy, no-frills style of hardcore/punk. Musically, The Microbes can be loosely compared to bands such as SSD, Germs, Youth Brigade, Citizen's Arrest, and other like-minded 80's hardcore/punk bands. Since forming in 2019, The Microbes have released a self-titled demo in May of 2019 American Dream is the band's latest EP, which was released on March 27th, 2020. On American Dream, The Microbes offer up four tracks of no-frills/bare bones 80's influenced hardcore/punk. Overall, American Dream makes for a solid listen and definitely should not be missed.
