Salvation is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Salvation play a tense, gritty, and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Salvation can be loosely compared to bands such as Bummer, Pile, Hawks, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Salvation have released a seven song LP titled Royal Fucks in July of 2015 and a nine song LP titled Sore Loser in March of 2017. Year Of The Fly the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Forge Again records on November 22nd, 2019. On Year Of The Fly, Salvation offer up ten tracks of tense, gritty, and moody sounding punk and noise rock. Overall, Year Of The Fly makes for an awesome listen. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
