Ragana is a two piece band from Oakland, CA who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Ragana play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of atmospheric black metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Since forming in 2012, Ragana have released a seven song LP titled All's Lost in June of 2012, a five song EP titled Unbecoming in January of 2013, a seven song LP titled Wash Away in August of 2015, a six song LP titled You Take Nothing in April of 2017, and a split LP with Thou titled Let Our Names Be Forgotten in September of 2018. We Know That The Heavens Are Empty is the band's latest LP, which was released on November 15th, 2019 On We Know The Heavens Are Empty, Ragana offer up two tracks of killer atmospheric black metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, We Know That The Heavens Are Empty makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
